Before talking about our subject, I was reading the following verse from Quran:

ان في خلق السماوات والارض واختلاف الليل والنهار والفلك التي تجري في البحر بما ينفع الناس وما انزل الله من السماء من ماء فاحيا به الارض بعد موتها وبث فيها من كل دابة وتصريف الرياح والسحاب المسخر بين السماء والارض لايات لقوم يعقلون

Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allâh sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed Ayât (proofs, evidences, signs, etc.) for people of understanding. [2:164]

I noticed that this verse summarized the creation sequence as explained in part (3) in one verse only as following:

• Creation of Universe (the Heavens and Earth).
• Alternation of Day and Night, i.e. Earth formation, being sphere and starting its rotation.
• Ships over the Seas, i.e. the water existed and appeared from Earth into Oceans.
• Rain, i.e. water starts evaporating, raining, rivers formation.
• Dispersing of Creatures (Daabah), starting from bacteria, and it’s evolution to other types of animals.
• Winds and Clouds, means oxygen generation and rising of atmosphere thickness.

In the following sections, we will compare some of ALLAH signs in Quran and compare them with science findings.

In a miraculous verse from the Holy Quran, ALLAH says the following:

الم تر ان الله يسجد له من في السماوات ومن في الارض والشمس والقمر والنجوم والجبال والشجر والدواب وكثير من الناس وكثير حق عليه العذاب ومن يهن الله فما له من مكرم ان الله يفعل ما يشاء  (الحج-18)

See you not that whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and Ad-Dawâb moving (living creatures, beasts), and many of mankind prostrate themselves to Allah? But there are many (men) on whom the punishment is justified. And whomsoever Allâh disgraces, none can honour him. Verily! Allâh does what He wills. (18) [22:18]

والنجم والشجر يسجدان

The Sun and the moon are the most important planets for our life on Earth, and without of them the life would be impossible on Earth and it would be never been as we know it today. But, did the Almighty God (ALLAH) mention some of their scientific facts in his holy book “The Quran”?

How did the moon form?

We think that the moon and Earth formed at about the same time, back when our whole solar system was formed. Earth was forming from many chunks of rock and icy material. Possibly a big chunk hit the new Earth and knocked loose a big piece, which became the moon.

Does the moon really have volcanoes?

Yes, the moon has some volcanoes. But as far as I know they are all "dead" volcanoes that have not erupted for millions of years. Most of the craters on the moon are from the surface being hit by asteroids and comets billions of years ago. The moon is a very "quiet" place. There is no air or water to erode the surface, and there are no large earthquakes or active volcanoes to change the surface. Only small rocks may still hit the surface. So it has not changed much in billions of years! Probably the biggest changes recently are the footprints from the astronauts that visited the moon about 30 years ago. [1]

A- Sunsets and Sunrises’ Count

In ALLAH’s book, there are 3 types of sunset and sunrise that were mentioned, as following: 

1- The Single Sunset (West) and Single Sunrise (East):

     

قال رب المشرق والمغرب وما بينهما ان كنتم تعقلون  (26: 28)

He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. (26: 28)

2- The Two Sunsets and Two Sunrises.

رب المشرقين ورب المغربين (55: 17)  

Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests! (55: 17)

These verses are talking about 2 Wests and 2 Easts, and in other case there is 1 West and 1 East.  All these are related to North and South Poles (Easts and Wests), as they are changing monthly, as following:

Previously in part (3), we talked about the phases of Earth formation till it reaches the current state and what was created on Earth on each day of its first universal week.

In this post, we will talk about how it was created and the wonders of Earth Creation that were pointed by Almighty God ALLAH in his book, the Holy Quran.

 

1-   “Earth Expansion” vs. “Plate Tectonics Theory”

Although the most known theory that Earth was developed into its current form by plates separation, but the new theory is much more amazing which says that Earth was expanded in volume, and because of such growth the plates were divided in its known shapes.

1-    Debate over Earth Age

We spoke before about universe creation and said that each of universal days was equal to 2 billion years as per Quranic calendar.

When I was going to write about Earth formation according to Islamic references from Quran and Hadith (Prophet’s Sayings), I discovered that they don’t match in time period with science findings but they match in order.

According to Quran, Earth creation started on day 1, means between last 14-12  billion years period, but scientists say that it’s since 4.5 billion years only, and this according to their age measurements on oldest stone that they were able to test (3km depth).

I was going to stop here and move to Earth attributes, but after some research, I discovered 4 astonishing facts


1- Recent finding by NASA: that the first stars were few million years after the Big bang and some stayed for few hundred millions years before they switched OFF.

Credit: WMAP Science Team "We now have evidence that the creation of this fog was a drawn-out process, starting when the universe was about 400 million years old and lasting for half a billion years," said WMAP team member Joanna Dunkley of the University of Oxford in the U.K. and Princeton University in Princeton, N.J. "These measurements are currently possible only with WMAP.”] [1]

This fact matches with Islamic facts that Earth, Sun, Moon, were shining stars (burning planets) before the Earth and later on the moon were cooled down, therefore the start of Earth could be as early as the 14-13 billion year period.

I was searching on internet about universe temperature and I found a very interesting study on kind of supernovas called “la supernova”. I will quote some of recent studies findings on this subject and others related to universe and Earth temperature and I will try to link between 4 main studies. 

The scientific researches on this subject are still new and didn’t solve the mystery behind supernovas behavior yet, and I am sure that the Islamic explanation will be so astonished to the working scientists.

God is the supreme power, he is the one who created the whole universe, the heavens and Earth, and he who had created the humans, and he is the one and only one who deserves to be worshiped only.

Muslims claim that ALLAH is the God and the only God of all what is created in Universe, and he who had revealed his last book the “Holy Quran” to his last messenger Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In this holy book, there are many verses that describe Universe Creation, and since Science has advanced a lot in knowing how the universe was created, we can compare the facts from both resources (Quran, Science), and if they match then definitely ALLAH is really the ONE, and he is Almighty God.

Knowing that, Quran is NOT a book of “Science” but book of “Signs”, to show us the wonders of God’s work in Universe.

The following part was not posted on your forum because of your Admin request  hat not  to include any information taken from religious resources, but since many of you requested from me or tried to get the answers of questions list in 1^st section, therefore I added all the answers on my blog.

We all know already that science is still not able to figure out the nature of Spirits World and what is happening there, therefore most of my answers below are taken from Islamic references.

Please take your time in reading the below not necessary all at once, if it’s the first time for you to get such information.

1-    What is the World of Spirits?

2-    What is the natural of spirit? Weight & Smell?

3-    Were all spirits created on the same time?

4-    When our spirits descend from heaven, and how?

The Proof:

Although you agreed on first one, but I will approve them all for you, so to be clear:

Fact 1:  Living Human = Human body + Human Spirit

Let’s see what is the difference between living and dead human being?

Very obvious that there is a difference, if maybe not clear to someone, then he must do the following:

Go to a cemetery and stand in front of a tomb (has a dead person inside for sure) and start insulting him:  I WILL………. nothing will happen of course.

Now, walk to street and choose a very strong man and say to him the same thing:  I WILL...., of course something big will happen.

So there is a difference, which will name it  as variable “X”, and added it to the living body  because it produced energy more than the dead body.

Therefore, 

Dead Human = Human Body 

Living Human = Human Body + X

Subtract both equation will get = Living – Dead = (Body – Body) + X = X only.
